At Manarah Islamic Academy, our Athletics and Extracurricular Program exists to nurture the whole Muslim child by providing a faith-centered environment where students grow spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Rooted in the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, our programs strive to cultivate taqwa, akhlaq, ihsan, and amanah in everything we do. Through athletics, clubs, and enrichment activities, students are encouraged to pursue excellence with humility, compete with integrity, demonstrate respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials, and honor the values of sportsmanship and fair play. We believe healthy competition is a powerful tool for teaching perseverance, discipline, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and service to others.
Our mission extends beyond winning games or mastering skills. We seek to develop confident, compassionate, and principled young Muslims who will carry the lessons they learn on the field, in the classroom, and throughout their lives—serving their families, strengthening their communities, and contributing positively to the Ummah while striving to earn the pleasure of Allah (SWT).

At Manarah Islamic Academy, we believe athletics and extracurricular activities are an extension of the classroom and an opportunity to strengthen faith, build character, and develop lifelong skills. Every practice, game, club meeting, and competition is an opportunity for students to grow in their relationship with Allah (SWT) while demonstrating Islamic manners, integrity, humility, and respect for others.

Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that success is not measured solely by wins, losses, awards, or achievements, but by the character our students display throughout their journey. We strive to create an environment where effort is valued, excellence is pursued, teamwork is celebrated, and every student in K-8th grade is encouraged to develop to their fullest potential.

We want every student to understand that athletic participation is an opportunity and an amanah. Whether a student becomes a professional athlete, a scientist, an educator, an entrepreneur, a physician, an engineer, a community leader, or serves the Ummah in another way, the lessons learned through athletics remain for life.
Through engaging activities and collaborative learning, students are encouraged to think critically, communicate confidently, solve problems creatively, and develop the perseverance needed for lifelong success. In alignment with our mission, each club promotes Islamic character (akhlaq), excellence (ihsan), and responsibility (amanah).
Chess Club
Develop critical thinking, concentration, patience, strategic decision-making, confidence, and good sportsmanship through the game of chess.
Homework Enhancement
A supportive environment where students can strengthen study habits, organization, responsibility, and confidence with academic guidance.
Math & STEM Clubs
Hands-on opportunities encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, innovation, and exploration in mathematics, science, technology, and engineering.
Debate Club
Students develop public speaking, critical thinking, respectful communication, research, and leadership skills with integrity.
Drama Club
An engaging environment where students develop creativity, communication, collaboration, and self-expression through dramatic arts.
