GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS
"Working Together to Raise a Generation Connected to the Qur'an"
Goal of the Program
Complete Qur'an Memorization: Designed for students to complete full Qur'an memorization within 3–5 years.
Annual Requirement: Students are required to memorize a minimum of 5 Juz' per year (approximately 1 page per day of memorization).
First Year Standard: New students can memorize a minimum of 3 Juz' in their first year to build a strong, sustainable foundation.
Parent Responsibilities
Home support is essential to your child's memorization journey. Parents are expected to maintain the following commitments:
Both parents (if there are 2 parents) must sign the homework agreement at the beginning of the academic year.
Parents should check homework assignments daily on WhatsApp to ensure consistent practice.
Sign the Quran Hifz Record sent home every week on Friday, to be returned to school on Monday.
Requirements to Stay in the Program
To maintain high standards of discipline and retention, strict compliance with homework is enforced:
If a student misses 3 homework assignments in a row, a first warning will be issued.
If a student misses 3 more homework assignments after the first warning, a second warning will be issued.
If a student misses 1 more Quran (Hifz) assignment after 2 warnings, they will be asked to leave the program.
Behavior Expectations
A quiet, respectful, and focused classroom atmosphere is vital for Quranic study:
First Incident: If a student is misbehaving and distracting other students, a warning will be given by the teacher.
Second Incident: A formal written notice will be sent home to parents.
Third Incident: A mandatory meeting between parents and the Vice Principal will be required.
