Program Overview
Young Innovators STEM Club is a 6-week, hands-on enrichment program designed to introduce young students to math, science, engineering, and problem-solving through fun, age-appropriate activities.
Students will learn by doing—counting, measuring, building, creating, experimenting, and working together in a supportive, collaborative environment.
6-Week Spring Engineering Program
Counting, pattern recognition, and measuring while designing and building a mini garden structure.
Comparing and measuring while building an umbrella or shelter that keeps a toy animal dry during a "rain" test.
Exploring shapes and geometry by creating symmetrical butterflies and engineering a butterfly habitat.
Sorting and estimating while building and testing a bird's nest using natural materials.
Planting seeds, predicting growth, measuring seedlings, and tracking plant growth over time.
Students choose a garden, nest, bridge, or shelter challenge and present their project to the group.
